IVR Prime's Initial Public Offering Subscribed 5.75 Times

Mumbai: The initial public offering of IVR Prime Urban Developers Ltd is subscribed 5.75 times. Bids were got at lower end of the price band of Rs 510-600. A total of 8,13,89,080 bids were received against the issue size of 1,41,50,000 equity shares. The QIB portion was subscribed 8.6 times, non-institutional buyers portion by 1.85 times, retail investor portion by 1.5 times and the employee reservation portion by 0.71 times.

Puravankara Projects IPO To Come Up On Jul 31

The initial public offering of Puravankara Projects Ltd will open on July 31. Price band of the issue is Rs 500-525 per share. The real estate developer is issuing 21,467,610 shares of face value Rs 5 each through 100% book building process. The issue closes August 3. At the lower price band, the company would raise Rs 1,073 crore and at the upper price band it would collect Rs 1,127 crore.
The issue would constitute 10.05% of the fully diluted post-issue paid up capital.The company plans to spend Rs 733.4 crore for land acquisition and Rs 289.9 crore for repayment of loans.Puravankara Projects has projects in Bangalore, Kochi, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Mysore, Colombo and the United Arab Emirates. DSP Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Global Markets and Kotak Mahindra Capital are the book running lead managers to the issue.

Zylog Systems IPO Gets Good Response

Mumbai: The initial public offerings of Zylog Systems have got good response in the markets and have been subscribed by 76.45 times. The IPO of Zylog got bids across the price band of Rs 330-350. A total of 27.52 crore bids were received on the bourses against the issue size of 36 lakh equity shares. Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors is the book running lead manager to the issue.

SEL Manufacturing To Float IPO Today

New Delhi: To part finance the expansion of its capacity, textile firm SEL Manufacturing Company Ltd plans to foray the capital markets on July 26 with a public issue of 41.38 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each via 100 per cent book building process. The issue comprises reservation of 2.07 lakh equity shares for permanent employees, leaving a net issue to the public of 39.31 lakh equity shares. The issue closes on July 31 and the price band has been fixed at Rs 80 to Rs 90 per equity share of Rs 10 each. The total outlay for expansion for garment manufacturing, knitting and spinning is Rs 184.57 crore. The company has fully joined hands with debt component of Rs 103.79 crore under the TUFS. An individual investor has also taken part to the pre-IPO placement of the company by subscribing to 5 lack equity shares at a price of Rs 75 per equity share.

Omnitech Infosolutions IPO Receives Good Response

Mumbai: The initial public offerings of Omnitech Infosolutions have got good response in the markets and have been subscribed by 61.84 times. Bids were got across the price band of Rs 90-105 for Omnitech. The company had offered equity shares aggregating Rs 35 crore. UTI Bank Ltd is the book running lead manager to the issue.

Central Bank Likely To Mobilize Rs 816 cr Through IPO

Mumbai: Central Bank of India is looking to mobilize additional capital through an initial public offering. The bank will issue 8 crore shares of Rs 10 each at a price to be decided by 100 per cent book building process in the band of Rs 85-Rs 102. It fund raising could go up to Rs 816 crore. The issue opens on July 24 and closes on July 27.

After the issue, the shareholding of the Government will come down to 80.20 per cent. Currently, the bank is wholly owned by the Government. Another public sector bank, Indian Bank raised capital through an initial public offering in February. The bank's red herring document claimed that its business per employee has grown to Rs 3.76 crore as of March 2007 from Rs 2.84 crore in the previous year. It similarly claims improvement on other parameters such as net profit per employee and return on assets. Central Bank of India is the second public sector bank to hit the capital markets this year. Of the 19 nationalised banks, now, United Bank of India and Punjab & Sind Bank are the only two banks which have not tapped the equity markets.

DLF Makes Strong Debut On Bourses

The tension was evident on KP Singh's face as he watched his $2 billion IPO listing at a 7 per cent premium. But while the listing was a reasonable success, its medium and long-term performance has being questioned particularly with real estate prices cooling off in areas like Gurgaon where DLF has a lot of land. But the 74-year-old real estate moghul did not seem to agree. "Its an aberration, prices are expected to go up," said KP Singh. Even though the listing was in line with expectations, there was relief across many faces at the Bombay Stock Exchange. This has been a landmark listing in the history of the country. And over at the NSE the vice-chairman and his entourage were all smiles and congratulating each other. DLF derives over half its revenues from commercial real estate and is a high-end urban player in housing.
But Rajiv Singh revealed that the strategy going forward for the company would entail a more inclusive and wider spread approach targeting the fastest growing segment of the population. "25 per cent of our revenues will now come from affordable housing, we will also be going to tier II towns," said Rajiv Singh, Vice Chairman, DLF. The much-awaited IPO has finally taken place without too many surprises. Now it is up to the promoters to live up to their promises and sustain their market share in a precarious real estate environment.

UTI MF Likely To Go Public This Fiscal

NEW DELHI: The country's leading fund manager UTI Mutual Fund is likely to foray the capital market with its public issue by the end of current fiscal and has already got the approval from its board for the IPO. In another 6-8 months we would be in better position to tell about the launch time. The ground work has began and various aspects were being examined. UTI Mutual Fund sponsors comprises State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda and Life Insurance Corporation of India holding 25 per cent stake each. They will make one more presentation to Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority shortly and we are hopeful to be selected as one of the manager. Besides UTI AMC, the other shortlisted entities are SBI, LIC and IDBI Capital.
